Poll Worker Procedures
Poll Worker Procedures information sessions will cover situations which you may encounter as a poll worker on Election Day. Topics include provisional ballots, spoiled ballots, and the role of poll watchers. Please join us to become an expert poll worker! We will be hosting multiple sessions of "Poll Worker Procedures" in the lead-up to the 2023 general election. All the info sessions titled "Poll Worker Procedures" will be identical, so you only need to sign up for ONE session. Please consider also joining us for an upcoming Poll Worker Q&A session where you can get any last-minute questions answered.

Poll workers are democracy's essential workers! This information session will cover the basics of working the polls in Pennsylvania. It is perfect for a first-time poll worker or experienced poll worker who wants to brush up on their knowledge. We will be hosting multiple sessions of "So You Want to be a Poll Worker" in the lead-up to the 2023 general election. All the info sessions titled "So You Want to be a Poll Worker" will be identical, so you only need to sign up for ONE session. This is the first part in a three-part series. 2023 Women in Public Leadership Event
Please join the Committee of Seventy for the second annual Women in Public Leadership Event. The event will feature a timely and important conversation on the media's vital role in a democracy. C70 will also honor renowned civic leader, Sharmain Matlock-Turner, CEO of the Urban Affairs Coalition, for her tireless work advancing social and economic justice, promoting voter engagement, and advocating for the rights of marginalized communities. The event is also an opportunity to connect with leaders across the private, public and nonprofit sectors, and also create opportunities for emerging women leaders.

Writing for Impact Conference Final Event
Philly students are in the middle of a multi-week workshop to use their written voices to participate in the upcoming election. A select group of five students from across the city will present op-eds about their future visions for Philadelphia. City Council candidates will then react to those visions.
