Make an Impact - Donate Today

For over 120 years, the Committee of Seventy has been a trusted, nonpartisan force for strengthening democracy. Your gift today helps us educate voters, encourage civic participation, and advocate for good government. There are many ways to give - explore how you can make a difference below and join us in shaping a more informed, engaged future.

Ways to Give
To submit your donation, please scroll down to the donate form at the bottom of the page. Every gift makes a difference. From simple online donations to planned giving and corporate partnerships, discover the variety of ways you can contribute and help us build a stronger, more vibrant community together.
One-time Donation
Every gift counts—your one-time donation of any amount helps us advance our mission, support vital programs, and strengthen our community. No matter the size, your generosity fuels lasting change and brings us closer to a fairer, more engaged democracy.
C70 Membership
For just $70 a year, you help fuel the Committee of Seventy's mission to shape democracy through nonpartisan advocacy, civic education, and meaningful government reform. Members enjoy exclusive event access, policy briefings, volunteer opportunities, recognition, and discounts on merch and tickets.
Changemakers Circle
Join a philanthropic legacy community committed to collective giving. With a $2,500 annual gift, you receive two tickets to our signature fall event, bi-annual briefings with C70 leadership, and recognition in our Impact Report and on our website.
EITC
The Pennsylvania EITC program lets eligible businesses and individuals support our Youth Civics Programming at little cost. Redirect state tax dollars and earn a 75% credit for a one-year gift or 90% for two years. Your support empowers innovative civics education for PA students that strengthens democracy.

Corporate Foundation Grants
Support our mission by directing grants from your corporate foundation to fund key initiatives that promote transparent, accountable government and civic engagement. Partnering with C70 helps your company drive positive change and demonstrate corporate leadership. You can contact Stephanie Rio at [email protected] to learn more.
Employee Match Programs
Double your impact through an employee match program. Many companies offer to match donations their employees make to nonprofits like the Committee of Seventy. Ask your HR team if your company participates, or contact Stephanie Rio at [email protected] to learn how to set one up.
Planned Giving
Planned giving is a powerful way to create a legacy that reflects your values. By including the Committee of Seventy in your will, trust, or other long-term plans, you help ensure the work you care about continues well into the future, at no cost to you today.
Bequests
To bequeath cash in your will, name the Committee of Seventy as a beneficiary and state the amount. Sample language: “I [NAME], of [LOCATION], give to the Committee of Seventy, currently at 123 S. Broad St., Suite 2830, Philadelphia, PA 19109, [AMOUNT/%/PROPERTY] for its unrestricted charitable use.”
Life Insurance
Donating your life insurance policy is a simple way to leave a legacy; just name the Committee of Seventy as the policy’s beneficiary. You retain ownership during your lifetime, and at your passing, we receive the full benefit tax-free, while your estate may enjoy significant tax advantages.
Retirement Assets
If you're 70½ or older, you can transfer up to $100,000 from your IRA to charity tax-free each year through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). At age 73 or older, a QCD can also count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD).
