Understanding the Judicial Rating Process
Did you know judges are elected in Pennsylvania? The Pennsylvania Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Commission (JEC) evaluates the qualifications of candidates to appellate courts in Pennsylvania to help voters make an informed decision at the ballot box. Candidates can earn a rating of "highly recommended," "recommended," or "not recommended" based on the JEC's evaluation. Join us to learn more about the Judicial Rating Process!

Poll Worker Friendbank
Committee of Seventy and the LWVPA will host their first ever friendbank March 30th! This virtual community election outreach event will help recruit poll workers for the 2023 Primary. During these busy and challenging times, the best messenger for opportunities to strengthen our democracy is US! We are the best messengers for our friends and family.
We all know Pennsylvanians who could be great poll workers. At an LWV virtual outreach event, you will reach out to people you know and invite them to become poll workers.
