On Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 7:00 PM, the Committee of Seventy, along with WHYY News, the Philadelphia Bar Association, and other civic partners, is hosting an in-person forum between the two Democratic candidates for Philadelphia District Attorney: incumbent District Attorney Larry Krasner and former Municipal Court Judge Pat Dugan. The conversation will be moderated by Carmen Russell-Sluchansky, legal analyst and journalist, and Cherri Gregg, civil rights attorney and award-winning journalist.
This forum is part of our ongoing effort to help inform and engage voters ahead of the 2025 primary election. The District Attorney plays a critical role in shaping the city’s approach to public safety, criminal justice, and community trust. Join us for this important opportunity to hear directly from both candidates about their priorities, platforms, and plans for the office.
