Pathways to the Polls: Enhancing Immigrant Voter Participation

Naturalized U.S. citizens have the same voting rights as citizens born in the U.S. Once an immigrant becomes a naturalized citizen, they can vote in all federal, state, and local elections, including presidential elections. Naturalized citizens are also entitled to other civic rights and responsibilities, such as serving on a jury and running for public office (with some exceptions, like the presidency).

Join us for an evening of meaningful conversation and connection, uniting community members and leaders committed to empowering foreign-born voters. Co-sponsored by The Welcoming Center, the Committee of Seventy, and the Museum of the American Revolution, this free event will feature a thought-provoking panel discussion moderated by Jennifer Rodriguez, President & CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Our panelists will dive into strategies for increasing the visibility of immigrant voters and overcoming the barriers they face at the polls.

There will be a networking cocktail hour before the discussion. The event will also be recorded, extending the conversation’s reach beyond those in attendance.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to explore the pivotal role of immigrant voters in shaping Philadelphia’s future. Space is limited—reserve your spot today!
