Join us in assembling Civic Engagement Starter Kits featuring the How Philly Works guide and infographics. These kits are designed to help residents better understand local government and actively engage in the democratic process. They will be distributed to organizations across the city, empowering Philadelphians of all ages to navigate their city and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Please mark your calendar for October 10th at 6:30 PM, and join us on Zoom as we foster meaningful dialogue between poll workers and our Philadelphia City Commissioners. During this virtual forum, hear from dedicated poll workers and City Commissioners Omar Sabir and Seth Bluestein and Chairperson Lisa Deeley about all things related to running and staffing our elections.

The Give Us A Ballot event is a nonpartisan collaboration between the Philadelphia Mayor’s Office of Youth Engagement, the City Commissioners, Committee of Seventy, and PA Youth Vote to invite Philadelphia students to City Hall to celebrate national vote early day, civic engagement, and casting their first ballot. Students will have the opportunity to create and deliver civically inspired speeches and artwork, engage with local community organizations and more!
