Testimony on Nonprofit Exemption for City Contracting

The Committee of Seventy's statement in response to recent requests by the Department of Justice for voter registration data and comments by President Trump about mail-in and machine voting.

The Committee of Seventy, Pennsylvania’s leading nonpartisan advocate for better government and stronger democracy, launched its Interactive Voter Guide for the upcoming November 5th election. The Interactive Voter Guide is a digital resource designed to help voters make informed decisions when casting their ballot. Users can enter their address to view a personalized, downloadable, sharable ballot and learn about candidates and their positions, as well as ballot measures specific to their location.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Committee of Seventy, in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania, launched its poll worker and poll watcher virtual information sessions in advance of the April 23, 2024 primary election. Between March 1st and April 22nd, Seventy and the LWVPA will host nearly 30 sessions designed for both new and experienced poll workers and poll watchers.
