The Committee of Seventy was established in 1904 to combat corruption in Philadelphia, playing a major role in the adoption of civil service reforms and the passage of the 1919 and 1951 Home Rule Charters. A nonprofit and nonpartisan organization, Seventy does not endorse candidates or represent any special interests.

Seth Williams today reminded voters to call the District Attorney’s Election Fraud Task Force if they experience any difficulty casting their ballot. A Conversation with Former U.S. Rep. Marjorie Margolies

C70, the League of Women Voters of Philadelphia, and Temple's MPP program are co-hosting an event with former PA congresswoman Marjorie Margolies. Marjorie will speak to her experience as both a mother and a congresswoman. She will attempt to answer the question "can women have it all?". The event will be moderated by C70's Interim President Lauren Cristella. Light refreshments will be offered and books will be available for purchase. The event is free to attend.
