C70 Letter to the PA House of Representatives Opposing HB38
To those who value our system of checks and balances, House Bill 38 contemplates a fundamentally different relationship between the legislative and judicial branches wherein the former has unequal power over the latter. Such a change would irreparably and severely impair the governance of the Commonwealth, and would harm the independence and impartiality of our court system. C70 urges the PA House to not advance this proposed constitutional amendment and allow HB 38 to lapse at the end of this session.

State of Young Philly - Create Change by Voting
C70 is partnering with Young Involved Philadelphia to celebrate their annual State of Young Philly week of events. We'll be hosting a zoom discussion with an esteemed panel, including Sister Taleah of the City of Dreams Coalition, Scott Seeborg from All Voting is Local, and Brittany Smalls from C70. Morgan Robinson, president of YIP, will moderate a discussion about how attendees can feel empowered and understand that their vote has the ability to create change. We'll touch on issues of accessibility, overcoming threats to election integrity, and other ways people can participate beyond the ballot box.
