Philadelphia and PA will need poll workers on Election Day. There are few civic duties more important to our Democracy than staffing polling locations, especially during COVID. Are you seriously considering being a poll worker? Are you willing to work a 15+ hour day, in any area of your city, no matter the COVID situation? Unprecedented collaboration among various stakeholders and an extraordinary increase in resources were necessary to make the 2020 elections successful. The City Commissioners and their staff will need the support of city and state officials, civic and community leaders, and businesses throughout Philadelphia again this year to ensure safe, secure, and accessible elections.

The Committee of Seventy, Philadelphia Chairman Commissioner Omar Sabir, OnePhillyConnect and other partners will hold a special event and press conference ahead of the October 29th deadline to request a mail-in ballot. The event aims to increase awareness about the Satellite Election Offices (SEOs) across the city and the services available at each location, as well as City Hall, while encouraging city employees and other nearby businesses to cast their mail-in ballot at one of these locations.
