State of Young Philly - Create Change by Voting
C70 is partnering with Young Involved Philadelphia to celebrate their annual State of Young Philly week of events. We'll be hosting a zoom discussion with an esteemed panel, including Sister Taleah of the City of Dreams Coalition, Scott Seeborg from All Voting is Local, and Brittany Smalls from C70. Morgan Robinson, president of YIP, will moderate a discussion about how attendees can feel empowered and understand that their vote has the ability to create change. We'll touch on issues of accessibility, overcoming threats to election integrity, and other ways people can participate beyond the ballot box.

On May 14, 2025, the Committee of Seventy welcomed more than 300 guests for its fourth annual Women in Public Leadership event, which celebrates the contributions of women leading at all levels. This year’s theme, The Power of Mentorship: Celebrating Women Who Carry as They Climb, highlighted the important role mentorship plays in shaping strong civic and public leaders.
