2024 General Mock Election Results

While Pennsylvania’s voters went to the polls on Nov. 5, 2024, Pennsylvania’s students participated in the PA Youth Mock Election. This program allows students to research and cast their mock votes for real candidates for statewide and local offices.

Over 18,000 students from 80+ schools, from 27 counties, participated in the mock election  across Pennsylvania. Teachers reported back almost 9,300 votes to C70. You can view the raw results on this downloadable spreadsheet.

Discussion Questions

Teachers can use these questions to lead a discussion as students view the results.

  1. How did your school results compare to your county’s and precinct’s actual results?

  2. Check out the statewide results for Pennsylvania. What do you notice about the way different counties voted? (Also note population density in these counties – Cameron County in the northern tier versus Philadelphia, for example.)

  3. As you view the results, which candidate performed the best among all offices, by percent of votes received?

  4. Which offices had different candidates winning the mock election versus the actual election?
