Kianni Figuereo joins the Committee of Seventy as Digital Media Manager, where she develops communications strategies that better inform, engage, and energize audiences to become more civically involved. A 2021 graduate of Chestnut Hill College, Kianni began her journalism career at AL DÍA News, where she discovered her passion for translating complex policy and community issues into accessible, culturally competent digital storytelling. Her community-centered approach earned her a 2024 Best Storyteller of the Year nomination from the Pen & Pencil Club for a three-part series amplifying the voices of Kensington business owners and residents. Kianni is passionate about making civic information accessible so communities most impacted by policy decisions can more actively shape Philadelphia’s future.
