Please join the Committee of Seventy for the second annual Women in Public Leadership Event. The event will feature a timely and important conversation on the media's vital role in a democracy. C70 will also honor renowned civic leader, Sharmain Matlock-Turner, CEO of the Urban Affairs Coalition, for her tireless work advancing social and economic justice, promoting voter engagement, and advocating for the rights of marginalized communities. The event is also an opportunity to connect with leaders across the private, public and nonprofit sectors, and also create opportunities for emerging women leaders.
