Testimony of David Thornburgh, President & CEO of Committee of Seventy, on the Issue of Congressional Redistricting

Join us on Tuesday, April 23rd as we interview leaders and organizations working to protect our democracy and promote local government.

On March 26, 2025, Generocity, in partnership with the Committee of Seventy, will host a special newsroom on Civic Education & Advocacy, offering an interactive forum to discuss voting, policy-making, and community engagement.

On April 7th and April 9th, the Committee of Seventy and the Philadelphia City Commissioners’ Office are hosting two in-person classes to help organizations and community members better understand voter registration ahead of the primary. Participants will learn how to complete and submit registrations accurately, avoid common mistakes, and understand what happens after forms are processed so they can confidently support voters.

The Committee of Seventy is activating three polling sites across Philadelphia to engage voters, foster civic pride, and celebrate democracy through art, food, music, community engagement, and nonpartisan outreach on Election Day.
