Committee of Seventy Statement on Continued Vote Count

This is the most consequential election in our lifetimes, and it demands patriotism and patience from all of us.

The Committee of Seventy has been monitoring elections in Pennsylvania for 116 years. In 2020, under extraordinary circumstances, Philadelphia and the entire Commonwealth have delivered a clean, fair and well-run election with absolutely no indication of fraud or any other reason to cease the vote counting process. We owe our fellow Pennsylvanians the opportunity to have their voices heard. This election is not over until every vote has been counted.

About Committee of Seventy

The Committee of Seventy is an independent, non-partisan advocate for better government in Philadelphia that works to achieve clean and effective government, better elections and informed and engaged citizens, working through citizen engagement and public policy advocacy.
