Writing for Impact Conference Final Event

The Committee of Seventy has partnered with Cosmic Writers, a nonprofit run by Philly students, for an event called the "Writing for Impact Conference for High Schoolers." Students are in the middle of a multi-week workshop to use their written voices to participate in the upcoming election.

On Wed, May 10 from 6 to 7 pm on zoom, a select group of five students from across the city will present short op-eds about their future visions for Philadelphia. We have invited City Council candidates to then react to those op-eds and share how their plans for the city will help the students' visions become a reality.

Registration is free but required: bit.ly/3Nw5Ok3
