C70 Statement on Returning Mail-in Ballots

The Committee of Seventy released the following statement regarding returning mail-in ballots.

"The Committee of Seventy encourages everyone to return their mail-in ballot in person to their county election office, drop it in a county-designated drop box or satellite office, or have a designated agent deliver it to one of these locations.

'Given that we are less than a week away from Election Day, and there is no mail delivery on Sunday, we are urging everyone to drop their mail-in ballots in person at their local county election office, a county-designated box or drop-off site,' said Lauren Cristella, CEO and President of the Committee of Seventy. 'Ballots must be delivered by 8 pm on Tuesday, November 5th (regardless of postmark), and we want your vote to count."

You may find your county’s election office, drop box or other officially designated location here.
