Ballot Questions

The Philadelphia Home Rule Charter can be amended by the voters of Philadelphia on referenda called "ballot questions." In the 2023 Primary, there will be four ballot questions for voters to consider for a yes/no vote. Check back in early April for C70's analysis of each question.

It's important to note that while only registered Democrats or Republicans can vote for candidates on the primary ballot, due to PA's closed primary system, any registered voter regardless of party affiliation can vote on these ballot questions.

Check back for more detail on these amendments as we get closer to the election. *Additional ballot questions may be approved by City Council*
