What is one life experience you have that voters should know about?

Raised by a single mom and know the struggles of making ends meet.

What sets you apart from other candidates?

My experience. Besides being the Mayor of Stroudsburg Borough for 7 years, serving on many boards and committees, I have a law degree and currently sit on the Education, Tourism, State, Local Government, and Housing Committees in the House Of Representatives. I have authored and co-sponsored bills that support a women's right to their body, higher wages, senior cost of living adjustments, public and higher education, pre-k education, veterans services, equality bills, healthcare bills, PA wildlife bills, criminal justice reform, gun safety bills, funding education to help reduce property taxes, and so much more.

How do you plan to work across ideological lines to achieve shared goals?

I have done that. 87% of our bills were passed in a bi-partisan fashion. We had record funding of schools (still not enough), we raised the rebates for seniors to stay in their homes, we still have over 200 bills sitting in the Senate that will help people in our commonwealth.

What would be your top three policy priorities in office?

Funding Public Education fairly, helping the taxpayers. Protecting a Woman's Right to her body, Better Jobs and Roads.

The Committee of Seventy has partnered with the Carter Center to promote the Candidate Principles for Trusted Elections (www.principledcandidates.org) to improve the voting process, encourage honest leadership, and promote civic engagement. Do you support the Candidate Principles?

Yes, our elections are secure and access to the ballot is a must.
