What is one life experience you have that voters should know about?

I have been volunteering since I was a little kid. My parents taught me the importance of doing the work myself. Others in my Camp Fire troop had parents take candy to work to sell for them. My Mom drove me to the houses, I had to go up to the door, knock, and talk to whoever answered. She watched from a short distance, but I had to do the work.

What sets you apart from other candidates?

I am already working in my community doing volunteer work. I deliver Meals On Wheels as a substitute in my district. When community events happen, I offer to volunteer when needed. I have helped in the kitchen for a volunteer fire co. dinner, at a raffle stand for a local carnival, at a golf tournament, and more. Also, I have been receiving outreach from constituents for assistance. The only assistance I am able to provide is finding information and passing it on.

How do you plan to work across ideological lines to achieve shared goals?

I do not care what political party one is registered as on file. It is my goal to be a true public servant to all the people of District 5, Berks County, and the state of Pennsylvania.

What would be your top three policy priorities in office?

Improve access to healthcare, resources, and services. Support pathways for access to training, education, and employment. Balance economic development with support for agriculture, family farms, and land preservation.

The Committee of Seventy has partnered with the Carter Center to promote the Candidate Principles for Trusted Elections (www.principledcandidates.org) to improve the voting process, encourage honest leadership, and promote civic engagement. Do you support the Candidate Principles?

I support the Candidate Principles for Trusted Elections.
