With nearly a decade of experience in the public and nonprofit sector, Stephanie Etienne has dedicated her career towards identifying holistic solutions to systemic issues. Over the years, her work has focused on intersectional issues, such as housing affordability, economic sustainability, and community justice. In her current role at LISC, she is leading the Equitable Neighborhoods team whose work portfolio is focused on building the capacity of community-based organizations in North Philadelphia, West Philadelphia, and Southwest Philadelphia, building initiatives focused on advocating on behalf of partners and residents throughout the implementation of policy, and supporting community leaders as they implement projects and initiatives focused on addressing neighborhood instability. Her aim is to build her skillset to support community leaders and political representatives to work collaboratively towards finding innovative, data-informed, and consistent solutions to systemic and complex neighborhood problems.
