Philadelphia City Council At-Large Candidate Convention

C70, WHYY, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the League of Women Voters of Philadelphia are sponsoring a convention for voters to come meet directly with the 35+ candidates running for at-large positions on City Council.

This event will run like a reverse job-fair. Voters will approach candidates at their table to discuss the issues that matter most to you.

Ths event is part of the Every Voice, Every Vote project from the Lenfest Institute, William Penn Foundation, and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation,among others. It’s a citywide coalition of Philadelphia news and community organizations committed to informing Philadelphians and ensuring their voices and interests are central to the 2023 campaigns for mayor and city council. The coalition is the largest collaborative journalism and community engagement effort ever launched for election coverage in Philadelphia.
