As part of the Election Academy series, the Committee of Seventy and the Philadelphia City Commissioners’ Office are hosting a set of in-person classes focused on understanding vote-by-mail in Philadelphia.
Classes will take place inside Philadelphia’s Satellite Election Offices, giving participants the opportunity to see firsthand how these locations serve voters. At these offices, residents can register to vote, apply for a mail ballot, receive their ballot, complete it, and return it to a secure drop box.
These classes are designed to help community members and organizers understand the vote-by-mail process more clearly so they can share accurate information and confidently guide voters through each step.
Whether you assist voters in your community, work with congregate living facilities, serve as a committee person, or simply want to better understand how vote-by-mail works, this session will provide clear guidance on the process and the safeguards that help ensure every ballot is handled securely.
