C70 is hosting a forum for mayoral candidates that gives voters a chance to zoom out and focus on the big issues two weeks before the election.
How will candidates honor core principles essential to our democracy? How will they be the city’s advocate? What are their specific plans to address Philadelphians’ biggest concerns? What is their bold, long-term vision for the city?
This forum is part of the Every Voice, Every Vote project from the Lenfest Institute, William Penn Foundation, and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation,among others. It’s a citywide coalition of Philadelphia news and community organizations committed to informing Philadelphians and ensuring their voices and interests are central to the 2023 campaigns for mayor and city council. The coalition is the largest collaborative journalism and community engagement effort ever launched for election coverage in Philadelphia.
