With Election Day just around the corner, poll workers may still have questions about what to expect at the polls.
Join the Committee of Seventy on Monday, November 2, from 6:00–7:00 PM for a virtual Poll Worker Ask Me Anything session designed to address last-minute questions and concerns ahead of Election Day.
C70’s Senior Program Director and fellow Judge of Elections, Tanisha Bezue, will be joined by Tim Benyo, Senior Advisor on Election Administration, to discuss election protection, the roles and responsibilities of poll workers and poll watchers, how to respond to disruptions or unexpected situations at polling places, and recent concerns about the presence of federal election monitors.
Whether you’re serving for the first time or are an experienced poll worker, this is an opportunity to get your questions answered and feel more prepared for Election Day.
Please note: This session is intended to supplement, not replace, the required training provided by your county board of elections.
