Join us for Behind the Ballot – Fireside Chat: PA Supreme Court Retention Elections, a nonpartisan public forum designed to help Pennsylvanians better understand the upcoming judicial retention elections. Presented by The Committee of Seventy, Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts and the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania this free, in-person event will take place at Central High School in Philadelphia and will also be livestreamed statewide.
The evening will feature a fireside chat with the three sitting justices of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court who will appear on the November 2025 ballot via retention elections. Attendees will hear directly from the justices about their roles, experiences, and perspectives—offering a rare window into the work of the state’s highest court. The discussion will be moderated by Cherri Gregg, Esq., Civil Rights Journalist & Co-Host of Studio 2 on WHYY.

A moderated conversation with Supreme Court Justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty and David Wecht, focused on their experiences, responsibilities, and reflections on public service.
