Brian K. Sims (D) - WINNER
The first openly gay member of the PA General Assembly, Brian Sims is running for his fourth term representing the 182nd District. The son of two U.S. Army lieutenant colonels, Sims was co-captain of the Bloomsburg State University football team. A 2001 Bloomsburg State graduate and a 2004 graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, Sims went on to work at the Philadelphia Bar Association and chair Gay and Lesbian Lawyers of Philadelphia (GALLOP).
