What is one life experience you have that voters should know about?

I am the child of Latino immigrants born and raised in Philly

What would be your top three policy priorities in office?

Public safety, education and housing

What sets you apart from other candidates?

I have over 20 years of experieince working and fighting for communities of color, immigrant families and workers. I am bilingual and if I were to win for city council at-large I would be the first Latina to do so in the history of the city.

How do you plan to work across ideological lines to achieve shared goals?

I think we as people have alot of the same shared goals and sometimes talk over each other. I come with years of experience building coalitions across race, class and political ideology to get things done. Doing this work is in my wheelhouse.

The Committee of Seventy has partnered with the Carter Center to promote the Candidate Principles for Trusted Elections to improve the voting process, encourage honest leadership, and promote civic engagement. Do you support the Candidate Principles?

Yes
