Stephanie Markunas, MSN, RN, OCN is a versatile, collaborative, and outcomes-driven healthcare leader committed to optimizing clinical operations and enhancing patient experience. In her role as interim assistant director at UPHS, she provides strategic leadership and oversight for the growth and development of core strategic services within the Cancer System. Stephanie currently serves as an Administrative Fellow for UPHS, developing and facilitating planning and implementation efforts for the Penn Medicine 2023-2028 strategic plan. A registered nurse in Pennsylvania, Markunas was the recipient of the Exemplary Professional Practice Award from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2021. She currently resides in Southern New Jersey with her husband, Ryan, and son, Cooper.
