What is one life experience you have that voters should know about?
I graduated from college into the 90's recession within the Boston economic market. With a good education and willingness to work; I was able to pay for my college education myself.
What sets you apart from other candidates?
I am drawn to the people; the people are the most importance reason for being a State Representative. Look forward to being directly engaged in our communities. We have amazing people and great resources; we can do more, together we can be better.
How do you plan to work across ideological lines to achieve shared goals?
We must work together to best serve the people. Already I have met a Representative from 'across the aisle;' by partaking in hosted events. Representatives working together provide a larger base to serve our communities.
What would be your top three policy priorities in office?
ECONOMY - our Pennsylvania citizens are and have been struggling for far too long. Workforce Development - Strengthen the pipelines of education, trade skills, on job training toward the open jobs market. EDUCATION- Create peaceful classroom for students to learn and teachers to teach. Include civic education, as well as courses in budgeting, and contractual knowledge. Promote our vocational education! ENERGY - Our Pennsylvania resources should not be stalled out - we need to use our resources to benefit Pennsylvania citizens first.
The Committee of Seventy has partnered with the Carter Center to promote the Candidate Principles for Trusted Elections (www.principledcandidates.org) to improve the voting process, encourage honest leadership, and promote civic engagement. Do you support the Candidate Principles?
