Michelle Montalvo is a communications professional with a background in campaigns and elections and a passion for helping people vote. Before joining Seventy, she served eight years in the Philadelphia Office of the Commissioners under former City Commissioner Al Schmidt, also serving as the office’s Language Access Coordinator.
As the daughter of Puerto Rican and Nicaraguan parents, she has centered language accessibility in her work as an election administrator. She is proud to continue that advocacy work to help reduce barriers to voting for non-English speakers and all Philadelphians in her role at Seventy.
