Pennsylvania Superior Court

Job Description: The Superior Court consists of fifteen judges.  The Superior Court has exclusive appellate jurisdiction of all appeals from final orders of the Courts of Common Pleas except such classes of appeals which fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Supreme or Commonwealth Courts. The regular term of office is ten years. Regular sessions of the Superior Court are held in Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

Minimum Requirements: Prior to the November election, candidates must be
1. A resident of Pennsylvania for at least one year
2. A member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Bar at the time of filing his or her nomination petition for office.
