FitzpatrickWeb.bmpDaniel K. Fitzpatrick, a veteran of 20 years of commercial banking in the Philadelphia area, is Citizens Bank’s President and CEO for eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

He also serves on Citizens Financial Group’s Executive Policy Committee, the company’s senior leadership team. CFG is one of the 10 largest U.S.commercial bank holding companies measured by assets and deposits. It is headquartered in Providence, R.I.

Fitzpatrick, a native of Philadelphia, formerly was President, Bank of America, Pennsylvania and B of A’s Market Executive for Commercial Banking for Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware. Before joining Bank of America in 2004, he held senior leadership positions with PNC Bank, where he managed the company’s national transportation industry practice, PNC Capital Markets and CoreStates Bank in Philadelphia.

He is active in the community, serving on the board of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce as well as the chamber’s CEO Council for Growth. He also is a member of the boards of directors of the Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition. He is a member of the executive committees of the Greater Philadelphia Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, and the Office of Catholic Education of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. He is a member of the board of trustees of the University of the Arts, the executive board of the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia, and vice chairman of the corporate board of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Fitzpatrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from LaSalle University and an M.B.A. from Drexel University, and is a CPA and Chartered Financial Analyst.

Fitzpatrick lives in Newtown, Bucks County, Pa., with his wife Beth and their four children.
